So here's the list!
- The Warrior Heir by Cinda Williams Chima
- The Black Book of Buried Secrets - 39 Clues
- Revolution in World Missions by K.P. Yohannan
- The Band that Played On by Steve Turner
- The Final Summit by Andy Andrews
- Life Without Limits by Nick Vujicic
- Craving Grace by Lisa Velthouse
- Out of a Far Country by Chris & Angela Yuan
- Sapphique by Catherine Fisher
- Gifts by Ursula K. Le Guin
- Heaven is for Real by Todd Burpo
- Bill Peet: An Autobiography
- Infernal Devices by Philip Reeve
- A Darkling Plain by Philip Reeve
- Fever Crumb by Philip Reeve
I will say this, the last five books on the list are excellent, especially the ones by Philip Reeve. He is one of my favorite authors and his Hungry City Chronicles is so well-written, with such a diversely spun and imaginative world... it's the kind of writing I aspire to.
I can't say I'll read more books this year, mostly because I've already started writing book two of my series, but let's say this: I hope to read more good books this year.
Happy New Year!

Dad and I read Bill Peet too...it was a fun read. :) Were the Reeve books the ones you were telling me about?
ReplyDeleteYup. Got em if you want em.
ReplyDeleteI think they might fit my summer break just perfectly...thanks for the offer! I'll ask again then. :)
