Life Without Limbs

Life Without Limits
by Nick Vujicic

Nick has been called an inspiration, a miracle, and an example. But to me he is more than that, he's a potential path I could have taken. There were complications when my mother was pregnant, and it was very possible that I could have been born as Nick was, with no arms or legs. To read Life Without Limits is inspiring, but for me it is assuring, that even if that had been my destiny I could have lived my life to its fullest.

Which makes me wonder why I'm not living it fully now? Nick recounts his life from his troubled childhood trying desperately to be accepted by the "normal" kids. By persevering and relying on his faith in God, he learned his true purpose in life, to help others. He recounts the lessons he's learned all the way up to his recent speaking tours across the globe.

I loved this book. Nick is a wonderful storyteller and uses his experiences to teach the life lessons we all need to hear. He tends to repeat himself which makes the middle of the book a bit of a slump BUT the things he says are worth repeating.

If you read this book and are not motivated to jump on your dreams and seize life, then you might want to check your pulse.

I received this book for free from WaterBrook Multnomah Publishing Group for this review.
