Sometimes I feel like I have a difficult life. I'm in debt, my job prospects are minuscule. But then someone else shows you how terribly easy your life is. I met a man recently who just finished up being a marine. He served two tours in Iraq where he saw horrible things. One of which was watching his best friend die.
He's two years older than me.
I must say, I have a grand life. A cushy life. I haven't seen a small fraction of what this world can dish out. And I worry about having to work fast food.

All of our lives have difficulties bro. I'm sure he hasn't experienced or went through some of the things you have. It always appears that someone has it better or worse off than us but the comparisons really aren't valid. We never know each others "whole" story. Our lives and experiences are all different. The one and only constant is that Christ will give us strength to get through or overcome anything this world throws at us. Greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world. (The positive perspective and being thankful for what we haven't had to experience is always encouraging though.)
