I approve.
Not to say that what has been filling my time isn't good, but they've all piled onto each other. This Saturday is the culmination of most of the summer. I will be previewing my talk for Emmaus, something that I'm not as nervous about anymore. I like the direction it went, and I think I'll enjoy giving it. Just have to work on those posters! Saturday is also the Called to Belong Worship Event that I've been practicing for. 2 and a half months of Mondays in Ashland all culminating at 6 o'clock. It should be wonderful. If the last few practices have shown me anything... its gonna be amazing. Saturday is also my cousin's birthday, who just left for college at Miami (Ohio). She lives across the street and is very much like my sister. Only been gone for under a week, but the first few days were very rough on her. I think she's been doing better now that classes started. And Saturday is the Restoring Honor event in Washington, something my parents really wished they could have gone to. Expect revival to start sweeping the nation because people are going to start proclaiming God from the marble steps once again!
So I'm tired. But its been a good summer. Lots of family time, no sunburns, fresh veggies, bonfires, and good friends. And next week will be the beginning of my favorite time of year, which I will post on later. But it starts with birthday week.
My brother's birthday, my birthday, my sister-in-law's birthday. All within a week of each other. Bring on the cake.
